ALANA BAIN | Hills District

Alana is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist who has been practicing for over 15 years.  Since studying at the University of Sydney, Alana has worked in hospitals, not for profit organisations, schools and in private practice. Alana specialises in the assessment and management of complex communication needs, with particular expertise in high tech and low tech augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) options.  Alana’s strength is in her family centred approach and rapport with clients. She is passionate about working with children and adults with disabilities, supporting them to maximise their communication potential.

Alana has presented at various conferences including AGOSCI and ARATA. She is committed to professional development, ensuring she is up to date with current evidence based practice.

In her spare time Alana enjoys spending time with her family (which usually means being at the skate park with her two young boys) and cooking.

ANNA BECH | Northern Beaches

Anna is a passionate and dedicated speech pathologist with twenty years’ experience working in the disability sector. Anna has worked in a range of community organisations both in Australia and the UK. Anna enjoys working closely with individuals, their families and support teams to strive towards independent communication and to reach high-quality outcomes for the individual.

Anna has specialised in Assistive Technology for over 10 years and presented at national and international conferences in collaboration with occupational therapists and research fellows. Anna is an expert in the field of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and working with adults and children with complex communication needs. Anna has worked with individuals across their life span, from young children through to adults – to reach their functional communication goals.

Anna is a  Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia and is committed to maintaining a high level of evidence-based practice by being an active member of special interest groups and attending and presenting at conferences

Anna keeps herself busy by walking her beautiful dog, going for runs, practicing yoga and trying to keep up with her two young boys.

DIANA LIMBREY | Upper North Shore

Diana brings more than 15 years experience working as a Speech Pathologist to Skyward Speech Pathology. Since graduating from the University of Sydney, she has worked extensively with children and adults across the lifespan.

Diana is passionate about client engagement and including their support person/s and team. She is creative, vibrant, goal-focused, and customises her therapy sessions to encompass the interests of her clients.

Diana’s special interests include early language development as well as augmentative and alternative communication methods.

Diana enjoys collaborating with others and has vast experience working with a range of allied, medical and educational professionals in both clinic and school settings.

Diana is a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia and accordingly is committed to ongoing professional development and remaining up to date with the latest evidence in speech pathology. She has presented at various conferences including Speech Pathology Australia, AGOSCI and Australian Rehabilitation & Assistive Technology Association.

When she’s not working, Diana loves dabbling in craft projects and spending time with family and friends.

NIKKI INGRAM | Lower North Shore

Nikki is a conscientious speech pathologist with over 15 years experience. Since graduating from the University of Sydney, she has worked in not for profit organisations, schools and private practice. Nikki has extensive experience working in the disability sector with clients and their families ranging from early childhood up to adulthood.

Nikki is a certified practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia. She understands the importance of providing therapy which is engaging, motivating and fun. She takes a goal-focussed, evidence based approach to communication and mealtime assessment and intervention with her clients. Nikki is dedicated to establishing a strong rapport with her clients and maintaining family-centred practice.

Nikki has a special interest in early intervention for children who have communication and developmental delays. She ensures collaboration with her clients’ childcare/school, medical and multi-disciplinary teams to promote goal attainment across all natural & community settings.

Nikki is experienced in providing in-services for parents and professionals on early communication development.

Outside of being a speechie, Nikki is a mum to three young boys, enjoys spending time outdoors and drinking great coffee & wine!
